When talking about overwater bungalows or cabanas, most people instantly think of the South Pacific – Bora Bora, Tahiti, or the Maldives. However, did you know you can also find charming overwater lodging in Roatan, Honduras at CoCo View Resort? The resort offers twelve cabanas, each of which is built directly over the water. Located in three separate buildings to the east of the Clubhouse and the oceanfront rooms, the cabanas are the most spacious guest rooms and are connected by wooden walkways to the rest of the resort. Staying in the over-water cabanas means you get to stay dry while still enjoying more ocean time – and is there really anything better than that?
