Socorro Islands (Revillagigedo) Liveaboard Expedition
Experience the "Galapagos of Mexico" – the world's premier destination for up-close encounters with giant Pacific manta rays, wild dolphins, and schooling sharks.
The Destination: Revillagigedo Archipelago
Located approximately 250 miles south of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, the Revillagigedo Archipelago (often called the Socorro Islands) is a remote group of four volcanic islands: Socorro, Clarion, San Benedicto, and Roca Partida. Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and North America's largest marine reserve, these nutrient-rich waters converge to create a pelagic paradise unmatched on Earth.
Signature Dive Highlights
- The Mantas of San Benedicto: Giant Pacific mantas (wingspans up to 24 feet) actively seek out human interaction. They will swim inches from you, hover in your bubbles, and maintain eye contact for the entire dive.
- Roca Partida Pinnacle: A sheer volcanic pillar rising from the deep ocean floor. This site is a magnet for schooling hammerheads, Galapagos sharks, silky sharks, and massive yellowfin tuna.
- Wild Bottlenose Dolphins: The resident dolphins at Cabo Pearce are famous for mimicking the behavior of the mantas, coming close to divers to play and socialize.
- Humpback Whales (Jan - Apr): During winter, humpbacks migrate here to breed. You can hear their whale songs underwater, and lucky divers may encounter mother and calf pairs.
