Group Trips with Ocean First

For most of our hosted group travel, we partner with Ocean First — a respected, B-Corp certified dive operator that runs an outstanding calendar of group trips to destinations like Raja Ampat, the Maldives, Fiji, Bonaire, the Cayman Islands, and many more.

Their trips include experienced group leaders who handle the details — flight coordination, transfers, dive operations, group dinners — so you can focus on the diving and the people you're diving with. Leaders are available day or night to act as your liaison with the hotel, airline, or dive operator.

Important: When you contact Ocean First about a trip, please reference ascubadiving so they know you're coming from us. This makes sure you get the right support and that we stay in the loop on your booking.

Other Trips & Custom Travel

Ocean First isn't your only option. We also:

• Work with additional dive travel partners for destinations and dates that fit your schedule
• Plan fully custom trips — solo, couple, family, or a small group of friends. Tell us where you want to go and what you want to see, and we'll put it together

Travel & Dive Insurance

We strongly recommend two kinds of coverage for every dive trip:

1. Trip cancellation / interruption insurance — protects your trip cost if you have to cancel or come home early
2. Dive accident insurance from DAN (Divers Alert Network) — the gold standard for emergency evacuation, hyperbaric treatment, and dive injury coverage. We recommend DAN for every diver who travels.

A few minutes of paperwork can save you thousands of dollars. Ask us about both when you book.

Trip Policies

Cancellation, refund, and deposit policies are set by the operator hosting each trip. When you book a trip through Ocean First or another partner, their terms apply — we'll always make those clear up front before you put down a deposit. For trips we host directly, the following apply:

Land Cost: Charges incurred preparing for your trip are generally non-refundable within 60 days of departure. Deposits are forfeited for cancellations made more than 60 days out. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

Airfare: Airline tickets are typically non-refundable. Refunds for unused tickets follow the airline's terms and are subject to a $50 handling fee. Schedule and routing changes are at the airline's discretion; we'll do our best to help you re-secure travel, but any costs not covered by the airline are the traveler's responsibility.

Cancellation Notes: We can't deviate from stated cancellation policies regardless of circumstances. Buy trip cancellation insurance immediately upon booking.
